Padyn earned his bachelor’s in engineering management from the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) before heading to Tarleton State University for graduate school.

After completing his master’s in accounting, Padyn returned to San Antonio to join the ATKG team in 2018.

While earning his bachelor’s degree, Padyn played football for UIW and received several honors both on and off the field. He earned Southland Conference honorable-mention as an inside linebacker, was selected to the Southland Conference all-academic team twice and was named a Division-1 First Team Academic All-American his senior year.

Growing up on his family’s ranch, Padyn enjoys just about every activity outdoors. Shortly after grad school, he embarked on an unforgettable 40-day road trip across the country, camping and visiting 16 national parks. Along with the spectacular views, he says the people he met along the way are what made the trip so memorable. If you need any advice on which national park you should visit – give him a call! (He will most likely tell you to go see Big Bend…like now. Right now.)
