He spent several years in management for the foodservice industry before starting his career in public accounting. He is a proud, two-time the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) alumni with a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While in food service, Marcus traveled to yummy destinations such as Sonoma, Napa, La Jolla, Los Angeles, New York, and Cabo San Lucas to enjoy each’s unique culinary flair.
Born and raised in Texas, Marcus looks forward to outdoor activities. While floating the Frio River, listening to the Randy Rodgers Band is his idea of a relaxing day off. Marcus also spends time on his mountain bike, playing sand volleyball, and hitting the gym – all to afford him the ability to try new food and beverages. With his culinary background, Marcus likes to experiment with food. His current fav? Maple bacon-wrapped cranberry-orange breakfast muffins. Great news for us – he shares!
