Lindsey is a 2016 University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) graduate with a Master of Science in Accountancy. She began her career with ATKG as a 2015 intern. We were so impressed with her ability to juggle her academics during her internship, and she did all of that while also playing middle infield for the UIW softball team. Since that time, Lindsey successfully received her CPA certification in November of 2019.
Now that collegiate softball and the CPA Exam are behind her, Lindsey spends her free time with her family and working on home improvement projects. When not working or sprucing up around the house, Lindsey can be found relaxing at home while binge-watching the latest Netflix series or reading fiction novels.
ATKG Bucket List Program
In the spring of 2018, Lindsey and her husband visited New York, NY, as part of ATKG’s bucket list program. Her wish was to take her husband, a firefighter for the San Antonio Fire Department, to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. When asked, “What was your favorite part of the trip?” Lindsey answered, “Making memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. We hope to go back one day to share the story with our children to keep the legacies of those who were lost alive.”
‘‘Hayley and Lindsey have been a huge help by sharing their knowledge with us and answering our questions and concerns. They've made sure we were being taken care of. All of our transitions would have been much more difficult and time-consuming without their desire to share what they knew and their guidance.’’
