Karen Loyd

Bookkeeper
As a life-long learner, she continued with graduate level course work and plans to keep going as time allows.

Karen brings diverse experience in accounting management and controller roles, from a variety of business settings, including general aviation, distribution, manufacturing, and contracting services. Karen took the education path least traveled by working her way through college during career development, while raising two kids, and earning her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

She and her husband moved to San Antonio in 2018, from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, just to spend more time with “the cutest grand-daughter ever!” Being nearer the Hill Country also means enjoying more road trips to any place with beautiful scenery and great diners – especially on motorcycles (weather permitting). Karen loves being outdoors in any setting from beaches to mountains, adores animals of all varieties, and when indoors, she’s either reading or finding ways to engage her creative side.

Karen is a proud native Texan, having lived all over the state (except far west). In getting around Texas, she grew to love sampling local craft beers and quaint Texas wineries – always best served with great live music under the stars.
