Amanda first interned with ATKG in 2018 and is now part of the tax staff.

Amanda Cagle is a tax professional with ATKG. She first joined the firm as an intern in 2018. Amanda graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelors’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She brings more than 10 years of restaurant management experience to ATKG and serves on the firm’s State and Local Tax (SALT) team.

Amanda credits the fast pace and multi-tasking required in the Austin and San Antonio restaurant industry for helping her successfully transition into the accounting field.

While obtaining her degrees and being employed takes a significant amount of time and energy, Amanda still has quality time with her family. She is a wife and a mother to an adventurous young son and new baby girl. She says the emphasis that ATKG puts on family and balancing professional and personal lives drew her to the firm.

‘‘I appreciate Brian and Amanda following up to ensure I submitted everything I needed to receive the PPL loan during a very uncertain and anxious time for everyone.’’
