The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting the lives of everyone we know.
At ATKG, we are committed to creating a lasting, positive impact for our team, our clients and our community. Right now, we think that means we need to take steps for the greater good.
For the near term most of our team will begin working remotely, and our offices will be thinly staffed to achieve the goal of “social distancing.”
We strongly encourage alternatives to in-person meetings through the end of April, especially for more vulnerable persons. We have invested heavily in technology and are able to provide excellent client service without regard to physical location. When an in-person meeting is required, we will work with you directly to ensure appropriate precautions are taken. Alternatives to in-person meetings include virtual meetings, telephone and email.

As of today there have been no changes to the tax deadline or filing requirements, but we believe it is likely. If there is no change, we anticipate extending more tax returns than in previous years and if that becomes necessary we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
We know our clients depend on us to help make important personal and business decisions. You can find a variety of resources to assist you at www.atkgcpa.com.
We all know this situation remains fluid and you can expect continued communication from us as circumstances warrant. You can also expect ATKG to remain committed to providing you the highest level of service even while working remotely, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Two of ATKG’s core values are caring and team, and these values are also at the core of our relationship with you. All of us are being tested by this situation, but we have every confidence in our collective ability to meet the challenge before us and persevere together as one team.
Thank you for your confidence and trust in ATKG. We wish good health to you and those you care about.
All our best,
Melanie Kirk, CPA
