Brian comes to ATKG after beginning his career with international and regional firms, as well as having had a strong practice as a solo practitioner. With over a dozen years in the field and a master’s degree in taxation, this Texas Tech Red Raider brings with him a broad range of industry experience in real estate, construction, oil & gas, retail and professional services.
Brian applies his background as a CPA to his community involvement as well, having completed the Real Estate Council of San Antonio’s Leadership Development program and serving as a finance committee member for the First United Methodist Church in New Braunfels. He also recently finished his term as treasurer for the Comal County Child Welfare Board.
To rid his brain of numbers, Brian goes for a long run, and we mean a long, long run. An avid marathoner, Brian has logged over 131 race miles (that’s 5 full races for those of us who admire those oval bumper stickers), but that certainly doesn’t include training miles. While he swears he doesn’t run to work and change in the locker room downstairs, we keep looking for his tennis shoes as evidence.
A husband and father of two little people, Brian loves to travel and listen to George Strait (who doesn’t?). While he never answered the question “Beer or Margaritas?” we may ask again after he completes his first season of “assistant” coaching his son’s pee-wee football team.
